How To Flash for Android 11-based MIUI 12

These are universal flashing instructions that should generally be applicable across Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices. Still, there is a possibility that there is a different variation to your device, so we greatly recommend hitting your device forums for device-specific instructions.

Installation Recovery ROM for Android 11-MIUI 12

The Recovery ROMs appear with a .zip file extension and can be installed either through the Local Update method from within MIUI or within the recovery environment. More modern versions of the stock MIUI recovery don’t offer an option for sideloading. Still, you can use a custom recovery like TWRP for installing these ROMs, though do note that device-specific instructions may differ in that case.

Local Update method:

Download Recovery ROM on your Device and After that Transfer the download .zip file to your phone. Make sure you place the file in the “downloaded_rom” folder in the internal storage of your smartphone. If no such folder exists, create one in your internal storage base directory.

  • Now, Reboot your Smartphone into recovery mode by powering it off and pressing both the Power and the Volume Up buttons simultaneously.
  • Then Scroll to the “Install update.zip” option using the volume keys, and select the option using the power key button.
  • Now, Wait for the update to install.
  • After that your smartphone Reboot Automatically, If your device does not reboot by itself after installation is completed. then Choose the “Reboot” option,

Installation Fastboot ROM for Android 11-MIUI 12

If you want to Install Fastbot Roms, Fastboot ROMs come with a .tgz file extension. I require a Windows computer to install the ROM and you have a need to unlocked the bootloader to your smartphone.
